Adult Classes - All materials are provided!
Each Class held 7-9pm, weekly, at the art studio
August 31st – December 17th

All skill-levels are accommodated in these open workshop-style courses that allow the personal instruction level left to the discretion of the student.
All adult courses qualify for OPI renewal unit credits.

All classes will take place at the art studio, at 15 South Central Avenue, Cut Bank

Monday Nights – Painting - $15/night
Explore both traditional and contemporary approaches to painting with watercolors, acrylics and pastels. Students will be guided through a variety of dry and water-based painting exercises utilizing numerous techniques, including wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry and dry-brush. Still-life, landscape and portrait painting will be taught. All materials are provided.

Tuesday Nights – Stained Glass - $25/night
Explore your creative side with a group of friends. Students will be guided through a variety of small and large glass projects at varying degrees of difficulty. All materials are provided. A discounted tuition program is available for students willing to provide or purchase a portion of their materials or tools.

Wednesday Nights – Figure Drawing - $10/night
Explore both traditional and contemporary approaches to drawing the nude figure. Students will be guided through a variety of drawing exercises in many different mediums. Work with graphite, charcoal, pastels, conte crayons, inks and large-format drawing paper. All materials are provided.

Thursday Nights – Ceramics/Pottery - $10/night
Create life-like sculptural forms or functional pottery for gifts or your home. The techniques of slab, coil, pinch and wheel-working will be taught. Also experiment with firing processes and glazing techniques. Students with previous clay experience will be given new and exciting challenges to further develop their skills. Clay, glazes and firing provided.
